Grandson of the revered Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sb, Jawaad Ali Khan is a well-known Hindustani classical vocalist of the Kasur Patiala Gharana. He was trained in music by his father, Karamat Ali Khan, the elder son of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sb, and by his uncle Munawar Ali Khan. He started singing in the 1980s, became an A-grade vocalist of All India Radio, and continues to be a powerhouse performed today. He has performed at almost every music conference of India with his elder brother Mazhar Ali Khan.
